L’Abattoir is a restaurant in Gastown, Vancouver. It has the power to
please anyone that walks in the front door. It exudes quality in every
area - from the service to the food. It’s rustic decor and unique
details were also inspiring. My favorite was the recycled jar
chandelier over the bar - brilliant!

Chinatown has been struck with a new and highly unique restaurant
called “Bao Bei”. Ryan and I asked a few friends before traveling to
Vancouver where to eat, and they all recommended the same place, I now
understand why.

This was a very special experience. The decor is totally unique - warm
and inviting and the service was pleasant. We sat at the bar where a lovely young man served us a variety of uncommon drinks and exceptional food. We started with assorted Pickles and Bean Curd Skin; then had Mantou, Crispy Pork Belly, Octopus Salad and Beef Tartare. Try as much as you can, it’s all delicious!

If you can’t find what you like, BUILD IT!
Brick and barn wood is all you need to make a shelf. It’s simple, easy, affordable and fun!

PARIS, FRANCE
Pierre Jancou’s latest restaurant “Vivant” serves all organic sourced products and only natural wines in the most cozy atmosphere.

We started with Sans Soufre Ajoute and finished with Ha Teue - both HENRI MILAN wines. The food was DELICIOUS, reasonably priced and made with the freshest ingredients. Thankfully, going with a lovely group of four, we were able to share multiple dishes and try bits of almost everything.

The restaurant is a smaller space but bright and very charming; you’ll feel right at home. The walls are covered in lovely mirrors, chalk boards and colorful vintage tiles.

At a place like this, it’s best to put yourself in the hands of the staff and let them do what they do best. You wont be disappointed.
